The Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority is proud to present a fabulous program of music and song over the next couple of weeks, in partnership with Tasmania’s midwinter celebration of the human voice, the Festival of Voices.

The Australian Girls Choir performs at Australia’s biggest events such as The Australian Open, AFL Grand Final and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Christmas Concert. This talented choir is touring nationally and will be treating audiences to two live performances in the Asylum at the Port Arthur Historic Site.

Evening performance 5:30 -6:20pm - free entry

The City of Auckland Singers is an award winning choir who enjoy wowing audiences with their unique blend of popular music and snappy choreography. Visiting Tasmania for the Festival of Voices, they will present the best of Broadway and hits from the 30s through to the present day.

Sunday 6 July from 1:00pm – 2:30pm, also in the Asylum at Port Arthur.

Access is included in the cost of site entry and is free for local residents.

To top it all off, one of Australia’s best loved and most highly acclaimed male vocal ensembles, The Spooky Men’s Chorale, will be lending their talent to all singers and wannabe singers in what promises to be a life-altering workshop followed by a free community event, a sing-a-long around a roaring bonfire at the Port Arthur Historic Site, before giving an already sold-out concert in the Asylum.
