Female Factory featured in new Tasmanian tourism campaign
Tourism Tasmania has launched its autumn campaign utilising the successful theme ‘Go Behind the Scenery’ and the Cascade Female Factory Historic Site is one of a select number of experiences to be featured.
The Cascade Female Factory page on the campaign micro site features recordings made by volunteers and academic partners which discuss aspects of the Site’s history and provide a sense of personal connection.
A slideshow featuring historical and modern day images provides a fascinating contrast and a glimpse into some of the more recent conservation and interpretation work undertaken at the site.
The launch of this campaign coincides with the much anticipated, new look Discover Tasmania website and provides fabulous new content for this platform.
