Ghost Tour

Join our guides for an eerie ninety-minute lantern-lit adventure.

Almost two centuries of documented sightings and reports of paranormal activity make Port Arthur’s after dark atmosphere intense.

Truth or myth? Either way, the silence and soft glow of the lantern can make those long-gone seem very close at hand.

Unlike most ghost tours, the Port Arthur Ghost Tour offers exclusive access to our World Heritage listed site. You won't be dodging traffic or competing with crowds of pedestrians. This is a truly special place and a unique experience.

The road back to Hobart is long and winding, so we strongly suggest staying in the area overnight. There is a good choice of accommodation nearby - visit the Tasman Region website for details and online bookings, or see our Visitor Information Desk on arrival – our staff will be happy to advise and assist with bookings.
