The Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority welcomes media inquiries.

We ask that all media representatives wishing to visit the Site contact us in advance, to ensure that your inquiry can be accommodated. It is a long way to drive to find that the person you wished to speak with is not available.

Filming and Photography

Conditions apply to filming and photography for media or commercial purposes. Please download, read, complete and return our Filming and Photography Request Form and contact our Bookings and Promotions Officer in advance of your visit to discuss your request. You should also download and read the documents available here.

Filming and Photography Agreement [PDF 177KB]
The agreement which must be entered into before any filming and photography is undertaken at the Port Arthur Historic Sites. An agreement will be issued after the request form is recieved and processed and permission is granted. It must be signed and returned prior to the commencement of any filming or photography.

Trade and Media Familiarisations

We work with key tourism agencies and partners to host familiarisations by key travel trade and media representatives.
